Our CST Certificate II in Security Operations program is realistic, industry based and the most practical available. Role-plays, scenario enactments, group discussions, excursions and demonstrations create an excellent and variety based learning environment.

In our latest course format, the course is delivered over 5 days in class (all inclusive) and most assignments may be completed during class time. This means you could be finished all training and be eligible to apply directly for your licence in just 5 days!

Students have a choice of three different course structures.
In-class Five (5) Days
This course format is conducted over 5 days in-class training from 8.30am - 4.30pm weekdays. This option is available at all of our training venues.

In-class Four (4) Evenings (After hours)
This course format is conducted over 4 evenings over two (2) consecutive weeks Monday and Tuesday 6.00 pm until 10.00 pm. This option is available at our Brisbane training venue.

Time is allocated in class to complete short answer assessment tasks. CST anticipates most students will complete their training within the course time table and additional study at home will not be necessary.


Correspondence / External Study Training
This course format is available for immediate start with students required to attend three (2) days of training in class. This format does require assignments to be completed in your own time and submitted for assessment. The Correspondence course is available at all our training venues.

The demand for security personnel will certainly continue with the private, corporate and business sectors seeking the services of trained professionals. On completion of this program graduates may work as a static guard, mobile patrol officer, access control officer, in retail security, events security, crowd control, hotel and nightclub security.
