The course is presented using in-class training, practical dry-fire, multi-media firearms scenarios, group discussions, defensive techniques and interactive learning techniques. Pre-requisites include qualification in Certificate II in Security Operations [PRS20103]. It is a requirement of the Queensland Police Service that this qualification is compelted no more than 12 months prior to aplying for a Firearms Licnce.

Please contact the office for assistance if your Certificate II in Security Operations is older than 12 months.

Students need reasonable numeric and literacy skills with a sound capacity in spoken English.
