Bradley Hay - Managing Director

Brad is the Director of Training-1 Pty Ltd. His qualifications include Diploma Business, Diploma Security & Risk Management, Cert IV Training & Assessment, Cert IV Security & Risk management, Cert III in Investigative Services and is currently completing Bachelor of Science in Counter Terrorism and a Diploma of Security & Risk Management.

His security industry experience extends over two decades, specialising in Executive Protection. Brad is approved by C.R.I as an Israeli Anti-Terrorism Instructor. He is also an ASP Tactical Baton & Handcuff Instructor, Counter Terrorism & Tactics Instructor, a Tactical Firearm Instructor and a Tactical Self Defence Instructor and as such facilitates security, firearms and executive protection training and places a special emphasis on tactical firearms and tactical self defence training programs.

Nathan Grose - Chief Instructor / Admin Manager

Nathan served with the Australian Army for 6 1/2 years. He was a qualified Vehicle Commander and Recon Scout. He was deployed on Peace Keeping Operations in 1999 and served with the Royal Australian Navy performing People / Drug Smuggling Interdiction.

Nathan is qualified on a variety of weapons including small and heavy arms, OC Spray, batons, handcuffs, shields and riot control gear.

Since discharging from the military, he has performed a myriad duties including: Crowd Control, Security Guarding, Mobile Patrols, Static Guarding Executive Protection, Armed Cash-in-Transit and ATM Tech Guarding.

Nathan has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Certificate III in Security Operations and is currently completing a Bachelor of Science in Counter Terrorism Studies and a Certificate IV in Frontline Management.


Francois Bekker - Consultant

Francois formerly facilitated Corporate Security Training's Certificate II in Security Operations and our Firearms and Defensive Tactics Courses. He has worked as a Police Officer in South Africa for 9 years where he was a Dog Handler and a member of the North-West SWAT Team.

In 2002 he moved to England where he worked in Corporate Security and Loss Prevention for 4 years.

Francois is currently serving with the Western Australia Police Service.

He has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment a Diploma in Criminal Justice Administration and a Certificate III in Security Operations.

Francois is currently a consultant to Training-1.

 

Richard Turner - Consultant

Richard's qualifications include an Advanced Diploma of Security (Risk Management); Diploma of Business Management; Diploma of Training and Assessment; Diploma in Security (Access Management).

Richard founded his security training business (now Training-1 P/L) in March 1996. The Smith and Wesson Academy first accredited Richard as a Firearms Instructor in 1997. He has been a certified by Pressure Point Control Tactics (PPCT) Management Systems as a Defensive Tactics Instructor since 1998.
