Bradley Hay

Brad is the Director of Training-1 Pty Ltd. His qualifications include Diploma Business, Cert IV Training & Assessment, Cert III in Investigative Services and is currently completing Bachelor of Science in Counter Terrorism and a Diploma of Security & Risk Management.

His security industry experience extends over two decades, specialising in Executive Protection. Brad is an ASP Tactical Baton & Handcuff Instructor, a Tactical Firearm Instructor and a Tactical Self Defence Instructor and as such facilitates security, firearms and executive protection training and places a special emphasis on tactical firearms and tactical self defence training programs.

Richard Turner Richard Turner

Richard's qualifications include an Advanced Diploma of Security (Risk Management); Diploma of Business Management; Diploma of Training and Assessment; Diploma in Security (Access Management).

Richard founded his security training business (now Training-1 P/L) in March 1996. The Smith and Wesson Academy first accredited Richard as a Firearms Instructor in 1997. He has been a certified by Pressure Point Control Tactics (PPCT) Management Systems as a Defensive Tactics Instructor since 1998.

Francois Bekker


Francois BekkerMr Francois Bekker facilitates Corporate Security Training's Certificate II in Security Operations and our Firearms and Defensive Tactics Courses. Francois brings a wealth of experience to CST. He has worked as a Police Officer in South Africa for 9 years where he was a Dog Handler and a member of the North-West SWAT Team.

In 2002 he moved to England where he worked in Corporate Security and Loss Prevention for 4 years.

Francois moved to Australia with his wife and has been working as an Armed Guard and Crowd Controller here in Brisbane.

He has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment a Diploma in Criminal Justice Administration and a Certificate III in Security Operations. Francois also is now an ASP Tactical Baton & Handcuff Instructor and in conjuction with Brad deliver Queenslands first ASP Handcuff program.

Francois brings a new perspective to CST's Training Team.

 Mark Costello

Mark Costello

Mr Mark Costello is Corporate Security Training's Branch Manager for the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba Regions. Mark began work in the Security Industry in 2000.

His experience as a Security Operations Manager, Crowd Controller, Mobile Patrol Officer, Static Guard, Loss Prevention Officer and Armed Guard is supported by specialist qualifications in Security, Business Management, Defensive Tactics and Occupational Health and Safety. 

Mark's contribution to the development of new training systems and attention to detail in reviewing the course materials ensures that all of CST's students are given the best training available in the Security Industry.
